State Owned Enterprises Minister Simeon Brown has announced new appointments to the board of Kordia Group, effective 30 June 2026.
Ben Kepes, who previously served as Deputy Chair, will take over as Chair of the state-owned company. David Boyes and Jason McDonald have been appointed as directors for three-year terms.
The appointments follow the departure of Sophie Haslem after nine years on the board, along with directors Martin Matthews and Kent Pohio. Kordia operates essential communications networks throughout New Zealand and is implementing a transformation programme.
