WorkSafe has reversed its decision not to investigate the death of an orchard supervisor killed in a collision between an all-terrain vehicle and a tractor.
The regulator had initially declined to investigate the fatal incident, but has now changed its position and will proceed with an investigation into the workplace death.
The orchard supervisor died in a collision between an ATV and a tractor. The supervisor was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
WorkSafe will now examine the circumstances surrounding the collision between the two vehicles.
