A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Taupō this afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the collision at 3.15pm. The crash occurred on Kiddle Drive where it meets Invergarry Road, and police have closed the intersection.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area. The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
