One person has died and two others are critically injured following a two-vehicle collision on Te Heuheu Road in Taupō on Friday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 6:30pm on 29 May. One person died at the scene.
Te Heuheu Road remains closed while police conduct a scene examination. Police advised motorists to avoid the area.
