Kevin Warsh has been sworn in as chairman and member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
The Federal Open Market Committee unanimously chose Warsh as its chairman on 22 May 2026. President Donald Trump nominated Warsh for the position on 4 March 2026.
The United States Senate confirmed Warsh as a Board member on 12 May and as Board chairman the following day. His term as chairman runs until 21 May 2030, while his term as a Board member extends to 31 January 2040.
