Fire crews have extinguished a blaze at a restaurant and bar on Fort Street in central Auckland.
The fire started in a commercial kitchen but was largely contained by sprinklers before six fire trucks arrived at the scene. All building occupants were evacuated and accounted for.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said crews were addressing remaining hotspots and beginning salvage operations.
