The High Court has ruled that a real estate agent will retain half of an elderly Christchurch man's $611,000 estate after family members challenged the will's validity.
The will was altered shortly before the man's death to include the real estate agent as a beneficiary of half the estate.
Family members brought the case to court contesting the revised will, but the High Court found in favour of the real estate agent.
